IML stands for In Mold Labeling, which literally means "labeling inside the mold." In the context of the injection molding industry, it refers to the process of placing pre-made labels (either manually or by machine) into the cavity of an injection molding machine, where they are fused with plastic through injection molding to create the final IML product.
